Guilty! Verdict in Black “teen” murder of Brunswick baby September 2, 2013Posted by myfoxmystere in Uncategorized.
On March 21, 2013, a white woman named Sherry West took her baby, Antonio, in his stroller for a morning stroll near her apartment in Brunswick, Georgia. Antonio’s father, Luis Santiago, lives in a house across the street.
That makes baby Antonio half-white half-Hispanic.
West had just been to the post office a few blocks from her apartment when she was approached by two Black teens asking her for money.
West said she didn’t have any.
One of the teens fired four shots, grazing West’s ear and striking her in the leg, before he walked around to the stroller and shot the baby in the face.
On Friday, August 3o, 2013, after deliberating for nearly two hours, a Georgia jury found 18-year-old De’Marquise Elkins guilty of murdering baby Antonio.
